Preparing coffee ice cream without an ice cream maker is really easy and doesn't require particular culinary skills: you just need a little patience, but the result certainly won't disappoint!
In this recipe we have used homemade condensed milk, coffee and cream: three ingredients for a delicious dessert to be enjoyed on hot summer days.
Eggs are not included, so it is a light version and also suitable for those who, for various reasons, cannot consume this food.

For the coffee ice cream without an ice cream maker, let's start preparing the condensed milk: to make it at home, pour the milk [1] into a saucepan, add the butter [2] and melt over low heat.
Pour everything into a mold [9] and place it in the freezer for at least 6-8 hours [10].
It will not be necessary to mix it during cooling: once the necessary time has elapsed, our coffee ice cream is ready to be served.
Thanks to the use of condensed milk, during the cooling time, it will not be necessary to stir the ice cream to break the ice crystals.
Those who prefer to buy packaged condensed milk, available in all supermarkets, can use about 12.3 oz/ 350 g.
For a vegan version of coffee ice cream you can use vegetable milk, cream (to be whipped) and margarine.
In summer, every excuse is good to enjoy a good ice cream: serve it after a meal or give yourself a refreshing break during the day!
